Camano Island Kennels is pleased to have added professional pet-grooming services for clients who would like their pets to receive a refreshing bath, a bath and clip or a full-blown professional groom and style.

At Camano Island Kennels, our highest priority is the well-being of your pet, and everything we do is designed with his or her welfare in mind. It is important to us that your dog or cat enjoy its bath and beauty treatment, and to ensure the best possible experience, our salon area is bright, roomy and spotlessly clean.

Our professional groomer has worked with multiple breeds and coat types, and she projects a warm and calming persona that puts most pets at ease. We can arrange a bathing or grooming appointment at a time convenient for you or, if you prefer, we can provide this service for your dog while he or she stays with us as a regular in-kennel guest.

Camano Island Kennels draws clients from much of Camano Island, Stanwood, Skagit County and Snohomish County, including Everett and the Marysville area, and is located close enough to Interstate 5 to be convenient also for people who drive from the greater Seattle area.

Grooming Includes All of the Following:

Initial consultation with groomer
Consultation with your groomer begins with an over-all evaluation of your dog or cat. Your groomer determines, based on your pet's coat and your input, what is the best shampoo for your pet's health and look. We offer multiple types of all-natural shampoos, including Oatmeal, Hypo-allergenic, Flea, Whitening and others, all designed to enhance the health and beauty of the animal. Your master-groomer works with you to decide what type of style will work for your pet.

A safe environment with relaxing music
Our location is a state-of-the-art facility designed with your pets' comfort in mind.

Brush-out and pre-bath trim
Pets are brushed. Pads, feet and hygiene areas are trimmed.

All-natural and specialized shampoos, according to your pets needs
You and the groomer determine the right shampoo. All shampoos, even specialty shampoos such as Oatmeal, Flea and Hypo-allergenic, are included in the bath price.

Ear and eye-cleaning and expression of glands
Ears are flushed and cleaned with natural cleaning solutions, and eyes are wiped with medicated pads. Dogs' glands are expressed.

Nail-clipping
Nails are clipped and delicately smoothed.

Dry and brush
Pets are fluffed and blow-dried by hand.

Refreshment
Pets staying more than 4 hours are given cool water, and dogs get a brief walk.
