Camano Island Kennels is a full-service boarding, grooming and dog training facility situated on five acres of scenic Camano Island in the great Pacific Northwest. Our island is accessible by bridge, is within an hour’s drive of Seattle off Interstate 5 at Exit 212, and is within easy reach of Everett, Marysville, Stanwood and Mount Vernon.

We offer a clean, healthy and comfortable environment in a tranquil, forest setting for small and large canine guests of all breeds. Our kennel is popular with dog owners from a wide and expanding area.

In addition to Seattle, Everett, Marysville, Stanwood and Mount Vernon and environs, our guests come from virtually every other part of the region, and we are a first choice for some veterinarians seeking accommodations for their own personal dogs.

When it comes to dog boarding, our primary concerns are your pet’s comfort and well-being, and our state-of-the-art kennel reflects that. Camano Island Kennels’ five acres of grounds provide covered kennel enclosures, in-floor radiant heating, walking trails and access to a three-acre, park-like, fenced area for exercise and play time. In addition, we offer soothing music and premium food for your pet’s enjoyment. While our services are much like doggie day care, we do require a minimum stay of two nights.

Whether your pet is here to attend training, or dog grooming or just for a weekend getaway at a dog resort, we are certain he or she will appreciate the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that Camano Island Kennels provides.

When it comes to dog training, our programs have a wide reputation for effectiveness. No canine is too large, too small or too difficult for us to work with. We maintain a pair of fulltime professional trainers on site who work with all breeds and all ages of dogs and with their owners, and our five acres of rural field and forest provide a pleasant learning atmosphere for both owners and pets. Whether you seek help in correcting dangerous or destructive canine behavior or simply seek our assistance in developing a sound and obedient canine member of your family “pack,” we offer dog training to meet your specific needs.
